Welcome to the Faith Based Section of SingleParent411.  This section of the website is especially devoted to our Faith Based Partners who minister to the single parents in their congregations and in their communities.  Single Parent Ministry leaders require special support as they face the difficult task of recruiting, ministering to and spiritually developing today’s single parents and their families.

SPARC's Faith-Based Outreach program unique design mobilizes faith-based institutions to create and/or expand services to minister to single parent families in their community. Utilizing the train and trainer approach, SPARC trains leaders of faith-based institutions to duplicate SPARC programs and outreach programs in their congregations and in their communities to benefit single parent families. SPARC works with all religions, denominations and cultures in program development and collaboration.

Become a member of the Single Parent Ministry Network and attend FREE monthly training sessions that will equip you to grow your ministry as well as to collaborate with other ministries.

SPARC also partners with faith-based leaders in the development and distribution of our newsletter and sections of our Website. The ability to inspire is a common thread that binds the faith-based community. As single parents are in need of inspiration, we ask our faith-based leaders to contribute articles of inspiration to the Inspiration Station of both our newsletter and our Website. If you are interested in contributing an article, please contact our Faith Based Coordinator.  We also deliver newsletters to faith-based institutions wishing to distribute them in their communities.

Finally, SPARC reaches out to faith-based agencies to provide training, support and programs. They also assist with program expansion and research faith-based outreach organizations to find out what programs they offer in order to refer single parent families in need of services to these agencies. View the events section and find out what other ministries are doing in your area.  Send us information on your next meeting or upcoming event so that we can post it on the site and direct single parents in need of your services to your ministry.

Faith-based institutions have quietly been great providers of social and community services, often going unrecognized. SPARC is committed to ensuring that the surrounding communities are aware of these additional program offerings.
