Got Girls

I thought I would have a son, but… I’m not worried about it, I ‘ll raise her just like I would have raised a boy… She’s starting to grow up. What am I going to do when she starts having “women’s issues?” I’m not worried. She’s always going to be Daddy’s little girl… When she turned into a teenager, it’s like she just turned into somebody else… The first boy that knocks on my door for her, I intend to meet him while cleaning my gun…

Concerned about raising your daughter? Want her to grow up to be a strong successful woman but unsure how to help her development? Afraid of the teen years and all of the changes that will bring?

Got Girls is a special section of the Toolkit designed for a very special population of single parents – our single dads, with a special focus on single dads raising daughters.

Perhaps the most challenged segment of the single parent community, single fathers are in need of support as they nurture and shape the next generation of women. What are the needs young girls have that are uniquely feminine that a man just would not know? What does a daughter need from her father? How does a father close the gap in his daughter’s life that exists due to the absence of her mother? How does he help her find her way into womanhood if he does not what it takes?

Got Girls covers all of this and more. Single Dads or anyone raising or working with girls, tune in to Got Girls for up to date information on what girls need and what makes them tick.
